About
Participatory Art
As a participatory artist, Morea Steinhauer has led and facilitated participatory art projects nationally and internationally. Her deep belief & extensive research shows that participatory art processes aid in healing, well-being, cross-cultural engagement, and connectivity. Art that invites active participation offers an interdisciplinary 21st-century approach to building strong & healthy individuals, increasing the overall vibrancy & connectivity within a space. Bridging cultural divides and diversity - no matter our age, socioeconomic level, native language, nor if we have lived in a community 5 months or 55 years - her interactive participatory art pieces and processes facilitate thoughtful and uplifting interactions through an evidence-based methodology. The results are visually vibrant and unique art pieces and exhibitions that radiate positivity, comfort, and hope while assisting in connecting the individual to the larger fabric or tapestry of the community.
